Timelapse

Here’s a collection of time-lapse movies I’ve created.

Please make sure to watch in High Definition, in full screen, and with the audio enabled.

The Burren

The first video I released is set in and around The Burren, a famous karst landscape in Co. Clare.

Loop Head Peninsula

The second was shot during a heatwave on the Loop Head peninsula, one of the hottest summers we’ve seen in Ireland in years. OK, so there’s one sequence from one of the Aran Islands (Plassy Wreck), but everything else is from in and around loop head.

Explosion of Colour (Fanore Sunset)

Shot in one evening near Fanore, this sequence shows a magical sunset unfolding dying. Watch out for the Explosion of colour at the end. It’s only about 30 seconds long.

Irish Moments Vol I

This is a more random collection of sequences from around where I live.

Irish Moments Vol II “Daylight Breaks”

More random sequences from Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Galway, Mayo, Donegal.

Hopefully I’ll have more sequences to add in here soon.

  1. Hi, I just read your timelapse slider tutorial. I’d like to build a similar slider, but for videos and not just timelapses, is it fast enough? Does it make a lot of noise?
    Thank you, great videos btw.

    1. Hi Georgio, It was not designed for video. The motor is noisy, and the bearings may not be smooth enough for video. I think you’d also need some camera stabilisation for video work. Regards, Dave.
